End-point Assessment
The Level 2 Butcher End-point Assessment (EPA) consists of three elements:
Knowledge Test
Observation with Questions
A Butcher Apprentices EPA tests are completed on the same day and take up to 6 hours in total. The assessment must be completed within 12 weeks of the EPA Gateway.

The Guide to EPA was created to give all parties guidance, support and a full understanding of the Level 2 Butcher Apprenticeship Standard EPA requirements.
