Level 5 Dairy Technologist End-point Assessment
Dairy Technologists provide expert technical advice and support on a variety of aspects of dairy production helping to drive a quality culture. They provide dairy technical specialist knowledge in audits and investigate operational issues and create innovative solutions. They support projects, focus on continuous improvement and are often in charge of introducing new processes or dairy products.

In their daily work, dairy technologists interact with cross functional teams and stakeholders. Internally this may include operations, quality assurance, continuous improvement, engineering, financial, commercial, marketing, and the site leadership team. Dairy technologists are responsible for ensuring dairy products are food safe and meet quality requirements along with customer expectations. Health and safety, environment and sustainability, financial considerations, and ethical working practices must also be met.
The level 5 Dairy Technologist End-Point assessment (EPA) consists of three elements

A project report (500 words) combined with a presentation with questions

A professional discussion underpinned by portfolio

A written test comprising long response answers
​
The End-point Assessments can be undertaken over 2-3 discrete sessions over a maximum period of 6 months.
​
This standard is valued at £26,000 and FDQs standard charge for EPA is 15-20% of the IfATE maximum funding rate, to view FDQ's Fee's Policy click here.
