End-point Assessment

FDQ are approved to deliver end-point assessment nationwide for a range of food industry apprenticeship standards. As food industry end-point assessment specialists we’re trusted to deliver EPA for some of the largest food manufacturers in the UK, as well as smaller independent food businesses.

So what does end-point assessment with FDQ look like?

Our priority is to ensure there are no surprises on the big day, for you and your apprentices. After booking an EPA with us you can expect a pre-EPA site visit (or virtual visit) where our EPA Managers outline the whole process in a straightforward way, so everyone knows what to expect.

Supportive

We want your apprentices to succeed. That’s why we like to work with your provider ahead of gateway, providing a range of support materials including sample questions and apprentice guides, to help with preparation.

Fair

Tests are aligned only to the key knowledge, skills and behaviours agreed in the standard. And all FDQ’s independent examiners, managers and moderators have years of solid food industry experience backed up by extensive training, so your apprentices are in safe hands. If they don’t succeed first time we’ll provide a full result notification with transcript showing possible improvements for the resit

EPA Results are available within 8 weeks of the EPA taking place.
