James Richardson

EPA Manager

James has bags of industry experience, having worked in the meat industry for over twenty years. So he understands the pressures employers are under, and that end-point assessment is an important final sign off in proving that their employees are work-ready.

James is also well versed in delivering regulated qualifications and assessing apprentices, having moved into further education after a successful career as a meat hygiene inspector. Working for one of the largest providers of apprenticeships nationally, he not only worked closely with students of all backgrounds, but also with employers large and small, developing bespoke apprenticeship programmes.

James will be working with the team to develop FDQ’s end-point assessment services. He says he’s looking forward to helping develop ‘fair but robust EPA’s, that work for employers, training providers and apprentices alike’.
