Bakery centres – qualifications update event

All centres that currently offer L2 and/or L3 Professional Bakery and or cake dec qualifications (NOT the proficiency) this is delivery in a class room – so college centres only in England.
​
Government changes in the way qualifications are approved and funded is currently underway. Department of Education reforms led by Ifate are aimed at supporting people into skilled employment, further and higher education. FDQ is currently working to ensure its portfolio of qualifications meet learner and employer needs.
​
FDQ’s portfolio of professional bakery and cake decoration qualifications will form part of the reforms - FDQ is committed to supporting its centres and the bakery industry in ensuring the new qualifications meet learner, centre and employer needs. We are holding an information event, do join and contribute in shaping your college’s future bakery offer.
